IMAARA SURVIVOR SUPPORT FOUNDATION

Our organization was born out of a commitment to stop passing over the real issues of gender-based violence in society, and deal with them head on.

Imaara /ʿimāra/ means strong, capable, firm, stable, or to enliven in various languages

Imaara is here to help and we believe change is possible when we put our hearts and minds to it

We Empathize

We extend our empathy and offer essential information for survivors. Gain insights into trauma, medical and legal aspects, police procedures, mental health resources, and bystander support.

We Educate

Empower yourself with knowledge through bystander intervention strategies, understanding your rights, identifying forms of SGBV, recognizing vulnerable populations, familiarizing yourself with Indian laws, and understanding international human rights laws.
