"One achievement that fills me with the most pride is my ability to swim.
I was attracted to this organization because of its core mission to cater to the unique requirements of individuals, irrespective of their gender, while acknowledging their heightened susceptibility to gender-based violence due to systemic factors."
Online/Tech Project Manager
Efe Omordia
"I chose to join the team because I have been involved in several violence prevention projects. I also have a passion to look out for the interests of vulnerable members in diverse communities.
Fun Fact. I am a lover of Pidgin English and I try to promote the language as much as I can, I think Indians should learn how to speak Pidgin English too (wink wink)."
Community Engagement Project Manager
Swathi Ramesh
"I love to explore the great outdoors. Whether it's hiking in the mountains, going for a long bike ride, or simply taking a leisurely walk in the park, I find that spending time in nature helps me relax and recharge. It's my favorite way to unwind and connect with the world around me.
I chose to work at Imaara Foundation because I'm passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of survivors of trauma and adversity. The foundation's mission aligns perfectly with my personal values and career goals. I believe that everyone deserves support and resources to overcome challenges, and Imaara's commitment to empowering survivors resonates with me.
Additionally, I was inspired by the dedicated and compassionate team at Imaara, and I wanted to be part of an organization that works tirelessly to help survivors rebuild their lives. I'm excited to contribute my skills and expertise to such a meaningful cause and be a part of the positive change that Imaara brings to the community."
